Unique Challenges in Neuro Critical Care
Nicole Davis, PharmD, BCCCP

 Bio: 

Dr. Nicole Davis has been practicing in Neuro Critical Care for 7 years at The Mount Sinai Hospital. She completed pharmacy school at the South Carolina College of Pharmacy (now known as the Medical University of South Carolina/University of South Carolina). Both her PGY-1 and PGY-2 in Critical Care were completed at The Mount Sinai Hospital and she is board certified in Critical Care (BCCCP). Her research interests include subarachnoid hemorrhage, status epilepticus, and hyperosmolar therapies. In addition to patient care, Dr. Davis is the Residency Program Director for the PGY-2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency Program. Outside of Mount Sinai, Dr. Davis serves as the Vice Chair on the Neuro Critical Care Board Review Course Committee associated with the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM).   


Overview of the Complications of Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy
Inderpreet Maan, PharmD


Bio:

Inderpreet Maan is a second-year pharmacy resident specializing in hematology/oncology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of Southern California (USC), where she developed a strong foundation in pharmaceutical sciences and clinical practice. Ms. Maan is committed to advancing patient care, particularly in oncology, through research and clinical integration.

At USC, she was actively involved in research and clinical initiatives focused on pharmacotherapy and patient outcomes. She also engaged with national organizations like the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) and the California Society of Health-System Pharmacists (CSHP), promoting health literacy and advocating for quality care in the community.

Currently, at NewYork-Presbyterian, Ms. Maan collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for cancer patients. She is passionate about education and mentors pharmacy students while contributing to the advancement of the pharmacy profession. Her academic work includes presentations on management of cancer-related anemia and bispecific targeted therapies in multiple myeloma. Her current research investigates real-time data comparing trastuzumab load versus no re-load in breast cancer treatment to optimize patient outcomes.

Ms. Maan’s dedication to patient care, education, and professional development makes her an emerging leader in pharmacy, focused on improving treatment outcomes and advancing the field.


Overview of the Complications of Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy
Marina Barsoum Gerges, PharmD, BCOP

Bio:

Dr. Marina Barsoum is the Clinical Pharmacy Lead at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and a board-certified oncology pharmacist (BCOP). She is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Capella University.

Dr. Barsoum earned her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from St. John’s University in 2018. Following graduation, she completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York, and a PGY2 Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Practice Residency at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, New York.

From 2020 to 2024, Dr. Barsoum was the Hematology/Oncology Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital before transitioning to her current role as Clinical Lead. Dr. Barsoum currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Enterprise Hematology/Oncology Subcommittee and the Co-Chair of the Medication Management Committee. She has developed a Hematology/Oncology Pharmacist-Driven Clinic at BMH utilizing a Collaborative Drug Therapy Management (CDTM) agreement.

Dr. Barsoum is an active member of the New York City Society of Health-System Pharmacists (NYCSHP), and has served as Membership Chair, Secretary, and is currently the President-elect of the chapter. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, skiing, and trying new food with her husband, family and friends.

Daryl Schiller, PharmD, BCPS, CPEL, FASHP

Bio:

Daryl Schiller is the Senior Director of Pharmacy at Montefiore Nyack Hospital in Nyack, NY where he is responsible for clinical, financial, and operational oversight of inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services.  He also serves as a preceptor for the PGY-1 residency program.  He earned his PharmD from Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY and then competed an infectious diseases residency at the Bronx VA Hospital.  Following this he worked as a Clinical Specialist in Infectious Diseases, Burn trauma, and Renal Transplant.  During this time, he also worked on a certificate in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Drexel University.  Daryl is board certified in pharmacotherapy and previously held added qualifications in infectious diseases.  He is a Fellow of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacy (FASHP) and recently earned the Certified Pharmacy Executive Leader (CPEL) credential from ASHP.

Daryl has been active with ASHP at the state and national levels.  He served as Chair of the Section of Pharmacy Practice Leaders advisory group on Strategy & Industry Disrupters, a member of the Council on Therapeutics, member of the New Practitioner’s Forum Executive Committee, and a member of the Student Forum Executive Committee.  He has also held multiple positions with the New Jersey and New York state affiliates including President of NJSHP, NYSCHP Director of Industry Relations, WCSHP President, and coordinator of WCSHP North CE programming.

Stephen Argiro, PharmD, BCGP, AE-C

Bio:

Stephen Argiro currently serves as Pharmacy Manager, Transitions of Care at NYU Langone Health in New York, NY.  He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from St. John’s University in Queens, NY, and currently holds board certification in geriatric pharmacotherapy.  In his current role, he oversees the pharmacy technician-led medication history program, runs the “Meds to Beds” service, and manages the unit-based transitions of care pharmacists.  Dr. Argiro currently serves as the co-chair of the Pharmacy Advisory Committee for the National Transitions of Care Coalition (NTOCC), where he contributes to advancing best practices in care transitions at the national level. He is also the most recent past secretary-treasurer for the Geriatric Practice and Research Network in the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP).

Mark Shen, PharmD, BCPS

Bio:

Mark Shen is a Clinical Pharmacotherapy Specialist in Transitions of Care at NYU Langone Hospital – Long Island. Additionally, he serves as the program coordinator for the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency. He graduated from St. John’s University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in New York. After graduation, he completed his PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at Winthrop – University Hospital and then accepted the transitions of care pharmacist position after completing his residency.

During his time as a transitions of care pharmacist, he has expanded pharmacy services to improve transitions of care for patients in the hospital. A few examples of services provided are: pharmacy home care visits and medication reconciliation for patients admitted from and discharged to post-acute care facilities.

Veronica Zafonte, PharmD, BCIDP

Bio:

Veronica Zafonte, PharmD, BCIDP is the Clinical Pharmacotherapy Specialist in Infectious Diseases at NYU Langone Hospital – Long Island in Mineola, NY. Her practice interests include antimicrobial stewardship, multidrug-resistant infections, infections in immunocompromised patients, and precepting pharmacy residents.

She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of the Sciences, Philadelphia College of Pharmacy in 2015. Veronica completed a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at Winthrop-University Hospital, and a PGY-2 infectious diseases pharmacy residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center – Strong Memorial Hospital. In addition to being board certified as an infectious diseases pharmacist (BCIDP), she has completed the antimicrobial stewardship certificate program for acute care through the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP). Veronica has been a member of LISHP since her PGY-1 residency and is currently serving as the Immediate Past President of the Long Island Society as well as the Membership Chair for the State Council. In her spare time Veronica enjoys pilates, reading and going to the beach.

Michael Bosco, PharmD, BCIDP


Bio:

Dr. Michael Bosco works as a clinical pharmacotherapy specialist in infectious diseases and antimicrobial stewardship at NYU Langone Hospital – Long Island, in Mineola, New York, where he also serves as the residency program director for the PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency Program. Dr. Bosco received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from St. John’s University in 2017 and completed a PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residency in infectious diseases at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center. Dr. Bosco is a board-certified infectious diseases pharmacist and active member of the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists as well as the Long Island Society of Health-system Pharmacists, for which he has served as a delegate for the last several years. His practice interests include antimicrobial stewardship, gram-negative resistance, management of persons living with HIV, and precepting pharmacy students as well as residents.

Salma Hewady PharmD

Bio:

Salma Hewady is the Manager of Health System Inpatient Pharmacy Operations at the Mount Sinai Health System in New York City. She completed her PharmD at St. John’s University, PGY-1 at Northwell Health’s Plainview Hospital, and PGY-2 at Mount Sinai specializing in Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership. In her current role, Salma serves as an interface between clinical, safety, informatics, operational, and supply chain teams to facilitate the implementation of system initiatives and regulatory compliance. She also co-leads the review, approval, and build integrity validation of pharmacy IT requests.

Jessica Zebracki, PharmD

Bio:

Jessica Zebracki is a pharmacy informatics analyst at Mount Sinai Health System in New York City. She has 5+ years inpatient/ambulatory hospital experience and practicing decentralized pharmacist in adult neurology, surgery, and pediatrics services. Jessica completed her PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy informatics residency at University of Wisconsin Health in 2023. She currently co-leads pharmacy IT governance approval, build, and validation processes, consults on med safety errors, and coordinates system-wide software-related optimizations.


DEI: Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccinations Unveiled: Clinical Review and Health Disparities Associated with Vaccine Uptake 
Joanne Son, PharmD, BCACP, AAHIVP

Bio:

Joanne Son is an assistant professor of pharmacy practice at Touro College of Pharmacy and an assistant professor at Touro College of Dental Medicine. She serves as a clinical ambulatory care pharmacist at Touro Dental Health, the teaching institution of Touro College of Dental Medicine. In her current role, Dr. Son has established clinical pharmacy services within the dental clinic.

Dr. Son received her PharmD degree from St. John’s University College of Pharmacy and Health Services. She then completed a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey and a PGY2 ambulatory care pharmacy residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York. As a board-certified ambulatory care pharmacist, she specializes in chronic disease state and medication management. Her research focuses on pharmacy education, interprofessional collaboration between pharmacy and dental professionals, and increasing HPV vaccine education to promote vaccine uptake.

Elizabeth J Unni, PhD, MBA, BPharm


Bio:

Elizabeth Unni is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Social, Behavioral, and Administrative Sciences at the Touro College of Pharmacy in New York. Dr. Unni teaches pharmacy professionalism, pharmacy management, the healthcare systems in the United States, and leadership.  Her research is mainly focused on patients' self-management of chronic disease conditions, with emphasis on medication adherence. She develops theoretical models and scales to understand and measure medication adherence and publishes widely. Dr. Unni also conducts research in pharmacy education and has published on topics such as career vitality in women in pharmacy academia, faculty retention in pharmacy academia, and remote learning experiences of pharmacy students. She is the director of the Health Disparities Fellowship program and the Founding Director of the PharmD/MBA program at the Touro College of Pharmacy. She holds leadership positions with the American Pharmacists Association, the International Society of Quality of Life, and the Society of Behavioral Medicine.


Residency Research and Practice Forum Opening Session: Leadership, Trust, and Team Building  
Abraham M. Jeger, Ph.D., FAODME

Bio:

Upon completing a Ph.D. in Psychology at SUNY-Stony Brook (1977), Dr. Jeger joined the faculty of NY Institute of Technology (NYIT) in Old Westbury, NY -- where he remained to develop an illustrious 41-year career. He assumed numerous academic and leadership positions, most notably serving as Assistant and Associate Dean of Clinical Education at its medical school (NYITCOM), and Professor of Psychiatry & Behavioral Medicine.

Dr. Jeger’s scholarly activities translated into a textbook on “community mental health,” as well as over 100 journal articles, book chapters and conference presentations. His received distinguished awards for: “Rural Medical Education”; “Meritorious Clinical Education Service”; “Champion of Diversity”; and a “Special Lifetime Achievement Award.” Upon his retirement from NYIT (which lasted one weekend), Dr. Jeger joined the Touro College of Pharmacy as COO and Associate Dean of Student Affairs in 2018. He currently serves as Professor of Social, Behavioral, and Administrative Sciences at the Touro College of Pharmacy, where he collaborates on “collaborative leadership” curriculum development and implementation.


Leadership in Action: Mastering Difficult Conversations and Personalities through Mindfulness and Values
Doreen Chiu, PharmD, BCPS


Bio:

Dr. Doreen Chiu began her pharmacy career in retail but discovered her passion in hospital pharmacy. After earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from St. John’s University in 2005, she transitioned to hospital pharmacy as a staff pharmacist. Since 2010, she has been with Montefiore New Rochelle, where she serves as Clinical Pharmacy Manager. Board Certified in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS), Dr. Chiu oversees both clinical and operational responsibilities, driving impactful change within her department.

Dr. Chiu excels in navigating chaos with scarce resources. She once managed two small departments simultaneously, including one slated for closure, while addressing toxic environments and HR challenges. Her leadership ensured functionality, employee retention, and modernization of decades-old practices under immense pressure.

As immediate past president of the Westchester County Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Dr. Chiu revitalized the chapter by increasing membership by 30% and fostering engagement through dynamic events. Her initiatives included launching committees, organizing membership drives, and hosting networking opportunities that blended professionalism with fun.

Dr. Chiu’s career is marked by resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to advancing pharmacy practice, earning recognition for her ability to lead through challenges and inspire positive change.

Linda Rosen, PharmD, BCPS, CYT

Bio:

Dr. Rosen earned her bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Saint John’s University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Queens, NY. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Rosen started her pharmacy career in the retail sector before starting as a hospital staff pharmacist at Sound Shore Medical Center in New Rochelle, NY. Dr. Rosen is currently the Director of Pharmacy at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital in New Rochelle, NY. She is Board Certified in Pharmacotherapy and is Certified as a Pharmacist Immunizer.

During her tenure in hospital pharmacy, Dr. Rosen has developed and applied interdisciplinary changes to medication management standards leading to successful Joint Commission surveys. Additionally, she has implemented and led the institution’s Antimicrobial Stewardship Program as well as a Pharmacist Run Discharge Counseling and Medication Reconciliation program. She has been responsible for leading pharmacy programs, providing medication expertise to clinicians, working internally with administration, physicians, nursing, and residents, as well as external stakeholders.

In her free time, Dr. Rosen practices yoga and manages the various activities of her two kids. She completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2024 becoming a Certified Yoga Teacher with the International Yoga Alliance.

Maya R. Chilbert, PharmD, BCCP

Bio:

Maya Chilbert is a Board Certified Cardiology Pharmacist and Clinical Assistant Professor at the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and practices in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Buffalo General Medical Center. She completed her PGY-1 and Cardiology PGY-2 residency training at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Her main areas of research interest are in antithrombotic therapy and optimizing anticoagulant and antiplatelet therapy regimens.

Kevin Chilbert, PharmD, BCEMP

Bio:

Kevin Chilbert is a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Pharmacist at Erie County Medical Center and Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. He completed a PGY-1 Residency at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas and an Emergency Medicine PGY-2 residency at Cleveland Clinic – Fairview Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. His main areas of interest are in hemodynamic instability and toxicology.


Keynote Session: Defining Financial Value in Health-system Pharmacy
Leigh Briscoe-Dwyer, PharmD, BCPS, FASHP

Bio:

Dr. Leigh Briscoe-Dwyer is long time pharmacy leader and advocate having served as a leader in pharmacy enterprises throughout New York, Illinois and Michigan.  She is the current President of The American Society of Health-system Pharmacists, supporting the professional practice of pharmacists   pharmacy technicians and student pharmacists who serve as patient care providers across healthcare settings. 

She received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Albany College of Pharmacy in 1987 and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from St. John’s University in 1994.  She is a certified pharmacist immunizer and is Board Certified in Pharmacotherapy.   

She maintains an Adjunct Clinical Faculty positions at Albany College of Pharmacy, St. John’s University, and Binghamton University College of Pharmacy.  She was a member of the NYS Board of Pharmacy for 10 years and served in several capacities, including Chair of the Executive Committee.   

Dr. Briscoe-Dwyer is a Past President of both the Long Island Society of Health-system Pharmacists and New York State Council of Health-system Pharmacists, and has been named a Fellow of the American Society of Health-system Pharmacists.  


Building Tomorrow's Specialty Pharmacy: Strategic Insights for Today
Ashley Galla, PharmD, MBA, FASHP, BCACP, CSP

Bio:

Ashley Galla, PharmD, MBA, FASHP, BCACP, CSP, is a Vice President of Clinical Operations at Northwell Health and the Program Director of the Post-Graduate Year Two Residency in Specialty Pharmacy Administration and Leadership at Vivo Health Pharmacy. During her tenure at Northwell Health, she has expanded the services provided by ambulatory pharmacists and support teams through innovative telehealth programs, technology-enabled medication access workflows, and collaborative practice agreements. Key focus areas include specialty patient management, transitions of care, population health strategy, and quality improvement. Dr. Galla obtained her PharmD from the Bouve College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, and her MBA in Health Services Management from Hofstra University’s Frank G. Zarb School of Business. She is certified by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties in Ambulatory Care Pharmacy and the Specialty Pharmacy Certification Board as a Certified Specialty Pharmacist. She also holds the status of fellow from the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.


 
Research Lecture: Ethics in Pharmacy: Obligations to the Patients, Considerations for our Practice

Mark Sinnett PharmD, FASHP

Bio:

Mark J. Sinnett, PharmD, FASHP is Dr. Sinnett is currently the chairman of the Institutional Re-view Board (IRB) for both the Biomedical Research Alliance of New York and Montefiore Medical Center.  Dr. Sinnett received both his B.S. and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from the University at Buffalo and went on to complete a pharmacy practice residency at the Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, New York.   He holds an adjunct Faculty appointments at the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy.  Dr. Sinnett is Past President of the New York State Council of Health-System Pharmacists and past involvement with American Society of Health System Pharmacists includes the Council for Education and Workforce Development, the Commission on Credentialing, the Council on Therapeutics and currently serves as a guest surveyor for PGY1 pharmacy residency accreditation. He completed Montefiore Health-System’s Performance Improvement fellowship in 2017.

Small Patients, Big Risks: Pediatric Toxicology

Alina Forin, PharmD, BCPPS

Bio:
Dr. Alina Forin is the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Pediatric Critical Care at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network. A Board-Certified Pediatric Pharmacy Specialist, she brings specialized expertise in pediatric toxicology, antimicrobial stewardship, and medication safety for critically ill children.

Dr. Forin earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Long Island University. She has played a key role in developing clinical practice guidelines addressing iatrogenic withdrawal syndrome prevention, delirium management, and infectious diseases. In addition, Dr. Forin serves as Adjunct Faculty in pharmacology for the MS Family Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Mount Saint Vincent, actively precepts pharmacy residents and students, and regularly lectures on pediatric toxicology through her institution’s Pediatric Critical Care Lecture Series.

Her dedication to advancing pediatric pharmacy practice is evident through her contributions to quality improvement research, recognition for quality research abstracts and posters, and active involvement in professional committees. Dr. Forin’s work focuses on optimizing the safety and care of critically ill children.


Retail Pharmacy Finance in a large Integrated Delivery Network
Mark Welch, MBA

Bio:

Mark Welch is the Vice President of Financial Operations, Vivo Health Pharmacy for Northwell Health. Mark has worked at the health system since 2017. In his role, he works all aspects of the health system as it relates to retail pharmacy with the goal of improving care and generating margin. 


Tele-Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs
Bejoy Paul Maniara, PharmD, MBA, BCIDP, BCPS, BCCCP, AAHIVP

Bio:

Bejoy is the Senior Manager of Northwell Health’s Tele-Antimicrobial Stewardship Program, a pioneering service that extends expert infectious diseases-related care across 21 hospitals during evenings and overnights, ensuring patients consistently receive high-quality care at all hours. He also serves as Co-Chair of the System ASP Committee, leading teams and initiatives to improve antimicrobial utilization and infectious diseases management across Northwell Health.

Bejoy earned his PharmD from St. John’s University and his dual MBA in Strategic Healthcare Management and Strategic Business Management from Hofstra University. He completed his PGY1 pharmacy residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and his PGY2 pharmacy residency in infectious diseases at the James J. Peters Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Bejoy started as an infectious diseases pharmacist at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center. He later returned to Northwell Health to establish the ASP at Long Island Jewish Valley Stream, achieving IDSA’s Center of Excellence, and founding the hospital’s first PGY1 pharmacy residency program, for which he served as Director. He later transitioned to Northwell Health’s Hospital-Based Pharmacy Services department as Manager and founder of the Tele-ASP.

In his free time, Bejoy enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing tennis and basketball, watching anime, and playing video games.


Residency Research and Practice Forum: Recharge and Refocus: The Importance of Rest for Pharmacists in Reducing Medication Errors
Samuel Gerardi, PharmD

Bio: 

Samuel Gerardi is a PGY-2 Internal Medicine pharmacy resident at Buffalo General Medical Center in Buffalo, NY, where he is completing his residency. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from D'Youville University in Buffalo and completed his PGY-1 residency at Buffalo General Medical Center. In his current role, Dr. Gerardi actively participates in rounding with the medical teams, regularly leads educational in-services for medical residents, mentors student pharmacists, and delivers guest lectures at the University at Buffalo’s School of Pharmacy. He serves as Chief Resident for his cohort and is deeply engaged in various projects and committees aimed at promoting the well-being of pharmacy residents. Before pursuing graduate studies, Dr. Gerardi worked in urban ministry, collaborating with numerous non-profit organizations to support marginalized communities. This experience inspired his ongoing exploration of the dynamic relationship between culture, ethics, and technology, particularly their profound influence on healthcare and its practitioners.


Advancing Pharmacoequity: A Focus on Medication Safety
Kelsey Gregoire, PharmD, MHA, BCCCP

Bio:

Kelsey Gregoire is a clinical pharmacy specialist in critical care/emergency medicine practicing at Kenmore Mercy Hospital in Kenmore, New York. She graduated with her Bachelors in Biochemistry from Mercyhurst University in 2014 and her Doctor of Pharmacy from University at Buffalo in 2018. After graduation, she completed a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency and a PGY2 critical care residency at Buffalo General Medical Center, and is now board certified in critical care. Additionally, Dr. Gregoire obtained her Masters in Health Administration from University at Buffalo in 2023.

Dr. Gregoire has been an active member of The Council since 2018 and now serves as the co-chair for the Education Committee, Chair of poster session for annual assembly planning committee, and is an active member of the advocacy committee. She also serves as the president of her local chapter, Western New York Society of Health Systems Pharmacists (WNYSHP). 


Advancing Pharmacoequity: A Focus on Medication Safety
Kimberly Zammit, PharmD, MPH, BCPS, BCCCP, FASHP

 Bio:

Dr. Zammit received her B.S., Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Public Health degrees from the University at Buffalo and completed an ASHP-accredited Hospital Pharmacy Residency at the Buffalo General Hospital. Her pharmacy practice experiences are quite diverse and include Community, Home Care, Industry and Health-systems.  In her current role at Mount Sinai she is the Executive Director for Clinical Pharmacy Services where she oversees formulary, policy, med safety and research and for the health-system.  She holds board certifications in Pharmacotherapy and Critical Care Pharmacy through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties. She is an adjunct Assistant Professor for the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and a member of the University’s Institutional Review Board.  Her leadership activities include service as president and on the board of directors of the New York State Council of Health-system Pharmacists and past member of the New York State Board of Pharmacy.  In 2009 she was named fellow of the American Society of Health-system Pharmacists. She is also the recipient of the University at Buffalo’s Willis G. Gregory award and the New York State Council’s Bernard Mehl Leadership Award.

Lilia Davenport, PharmD, BCPS, BCOP

 Bio:

Lilia Davenport, PharmD, BCPS, BCOP obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Long Is-land University. She completed PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at NYU Langone Hospital - Long Is-land and PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency at Miami Cancer Institute. She worked as a Clin-ical Pharmacy Manager at The Brooklyn Cancer Center before joining Johnson & Johnson as Medical Science Liaison. Dr. Davenport is co-chair of the Legislative Advocacy Committee at The New York State Council of Health-System Pharmacists as well as Chair of the Public Policy Committee at Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association. Dr. Davenport was also elected to be a president of Royal Counties of Health-system Pharmacists 2025 – 2026.

Tamara Hernandez, PharmD, MA, MBA, BCPPS

  Bio:

Dr. Tamara Hernandez currently practices as an assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Touro College of Pharmacy. Her area of expertise is pediatric pharmacotherapy. She is also on the faculty at the Brooklyn Hospital Center. Dr. Hernandez serves as a chair of the Advocacy Committee at NYSCHP and a Director-At-Large for Advocacy, Pharmacy Technicians, Student Relations, and Bulletin at NYCSHP.

  Bio:

Michaela Myerson is a clinical pharmacist with a specialty in investigational drugs and research. She serves as secretary of the NYSCHP advocacy committee. Outside of her role as a pharma-cist, she has spent over 10 years advocating for cystic fibrosis and other rare diseases on Capitol Hill.
